Stainless steel and copper distillation equipment

Here we list all distillers, regardless of whether they are intended for alcohol distillation or steam distillation for the production of essential oils. With our distillers, you can distil anything, but we have models that are optimised for alcohol and others for essential oils. If you want to do both, choose an all-rounder.

All devices must be rinsed before use; after assembly, they should only be cleaned roughly.

The following information applies to all our stainless steel distillation equipment

Hazard warning: When used properly, our stainless steel distillers do not pose any particular hazards. All our devices are designed so that high pressures cannot build up. However, you should be aware that all parts become hot during distillation . We therefore strongly recommend wearing protective gloves and safety goggles during distillation, refilling and dismantling. When using gas burners, only devices with a safety pilot flame should be used. Gas appliances used indoors must be approved for indoor use.   • Water bath boiler with safety system for the pressurized water bath: 16 liters

    The water bath system may only be operated in the fully closed state, that is, all the latches are closed.

  •  Mash-water boilers: 13,5 Litres,

  • 2 Columns / combustion-chamber extensions: 7 Litres,

  • Inner Diameter 28 cm,

  • Total height approx. 83 cm.

  • Powerful counterflow cooler with 1.6 m jacket length. In this cooler, a thinner pipe (core) passes through a jacket pipe. Through the soul flows the distillate. Between soul and coat cooling water is passed in countercurrent. Due to the spiral-shaped water flow, the flow between soul and mantle is turbulent even at low flow velocities. This causes effective heat transfer from the distillate to the cooling water. Because of this and because of the comfortable length of the radiator, only moderate cooling water is.

Zwischen Seele und Mantel wird im Gegenstrom Kühlwasser durchgeleitet. Aufgrund der spiralförmigen Wasserführung ist die Strömung zwischen Seele und Mantel bereits bei kleinen Strömungsgeschwindigkeiten turbulent. Das bewirkt eine effektive Wärmeübergabe vom Destillat ins Kühlwasser. Aufgrund dessen und wegen der komfortablen Länge des Kühlers wird nur mäßig Kühlwasser benötigt.

With approx. 5 litres of plant space, you have plenty of volume to process larger quantities of plants or drugs. The steam is generated in an extra boiler under the plant container, so that contact with boiling water can be ruled out.
The best thing is: As the water boiler only has a volume of 2 litres despite the large plant container, the DESTILLIERMEISTER E2-55 Supreme Plus can also be sold and operated legally in Germany and Austria without being reported to customs.

Simple handling:

  • In the new model, gaskets are no longer required between the 1st and 2nd as well as the 3rd and 4th due to optimised clamping closures. The sealing works metallically. This model therefore no longer incurs any follow-up costs.
  • Fill at least 1.3 litres, but no more than 1.7 litres of water into the water/steam boiler, put the lid on and close with clamp fasteners.
    Ideally, demineralised or distilled water should be used; if normal drinking water is used, the water boiler should be descaled regularly.
  • Attach the 5.5 litre plant tube and close the kettle with the clamp fasteners 1.1.
  • Place the flavour basket in the plant tube and open.
  • Fill to the brim with herbs or drugs - compact slightly. There are about 5 litres.
  • Put on the lid 3. and tighten the caps 2.4,
  • Insert the distillation bridge 5 into the socket 4.1,
  • Screw the cooling water hoses to the radiator.
  • Switch on the heat source and collect the hydrolat with oil at 5.6.
  • Distil for about 10 minutes at higher power (induction plate 3000 watts). There should be 500 ml of distillate.

Water / vapour container and plant / drug pipe, as well as all distillate-carrying pipes and connections are made of stainless steel.

  • The boiler and plant tube are no longer rigidly connected, but can be separated using a V4A cup joint.
  • The socket for the distilling bridge, with a tight fit, is made of high-quality V4A stainless steel.
  • The distilling bridge can be plugged onto either the plant tube or the water/vapour boiler directly.
  • The plant basket is height-adjustable, so that smaller quantities can also be distilled.
  • 25 ml of essential oil in 8 minutes - that's what we achieved with 400 g of lavender flowers.

With 4 litres of plant space, you have plenty of volume to process larger quantities of plants or drugs. The steam is generated in a separate boiler under the plant container, so that contact with boiling water can be ruled out.
And the best thing is: since the water boiler has a volume of only 2 litres despite the large plant container, the DESTILLIERMEISTER E2-4 Supreme-Plus24 can be sold and operated legally and without reporting to customs in Germany and Austria.

Easy to use:

  • In the new model, no seals are required between 1. and 2. as well as 3. and 4. due to optimised clamping locks. Sealing works metallically. Therefore, there are no more follow-up costs for this model.
  • Fill at least 1.3 litres, not more than 1.7 litres, ideally demineralised or distilled water into the water/steam boiler.
  • Put on the 4 litre plant tube and close the boiler with the clamping locks 1.1.
  • Put the aroma basket into the plant tube and open it.
  • Fill up to the edge with herbs or drugs - do not compress. There are about 4.2 litres.
  • Put on the lid 3 and tighten the locks 2.4,
  • insert the distilling bridge 5 into the socket 4.1, or
  • Insert the distillation bridge 5 into the socket 2.1. The distillation bridge also fits directly onto the water/vapour boiler of the new DESTILLIERMEISTER E2-4 Supreme Plus 24 model. This is needed, for example, if you want to produce a rose blossom hydrosol. This is generally obtained by water distillation.
  • Screw the cooling water hoses onto the cooler.
  • Switch on the heat source and collect the oil at 5.6 hydrosol using a filter.
  • Distil at high power (induction plate 3000 watts) for about 10 minutes. There should be 500 ml of distillate.

The water/vapour tray and plant/drug tube, as well as all distillate-carrying pipes and connections, are made of stainless steel.
