Still Thermometer

Laboratory thermometer with or without silicone stopper
This laboratory thermometer measures reliably in the temperature range between -10º to 110º Celsius and is divided into 1ºC strokes. At our distilleries this thermometer is already included.

We deliver the thermometer separately or completely with a suitable silicone plug. The plugs are sized to fit in standard sockets of 15mm, 22mm or 28mm. The following plugs can be included:

• Top 16 mm, bottom 13 mm,
• top 26 mm, bottom 20 mm,
• top 32 mm, bottom 26 mm.

Supplied complete with a plastic wrapper so that the sensitive glass gauge does not accidentally break.

The thermometer is pushed into the hole with the colored side from the thick end of the plug until the mark of the immersion depth of 76 mm protrudes straight out of the lower hole. (see picture) It is strongly recommended to dip the red end of the thermometer in some edible oil to allow the thermometer to be easily inserted. After use, it is advisable to leave the thermometer in the stopper, because it is very difficult to remove it again and it usually breaks.
